Frozen Hot Chocolates
FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE BASIC RECIPE
DQ Copycat Recipe
Makes 1 Drink
1/2 - 3/4 cup milk
1 packet hot chocolate mix
1 cup ice
whipped cream, for garnish
chocolate, for shaving on top
Put 1/2 milk, hot chocolate mix, and ice in a blender. Blend until pretty smooth, adding more milk as needed. Pour into a glass. Top with whipped cream and use a microplane to shave some chocolate on top. Serve immediately.
Peanut Butter Variation:
Add 1-2 teaspoons of peanut butter (depending on your taste) to the mix before blending. Garnish with whipped cream. Top make a peanut butter drizzle add milk to thin out the peanut butter and swirl on top of the whipped cream.
Double Fudge Variation:
Add 1-2 teaspoons of chocolate syrup to the mix before blending. Garnish with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Add 1-2 teaspoons of caramel sauce to the mix before blending. Garnish with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Notes: Look for the ice cream toppings section in the supermarket to get the syrups you need to make these copycat drinks.
